Tackle It Tuesday

Tackle It Tuesday Meme

It's my first Tackle It Tuesday. And today, I'll be embarking on several things. A combo-platter, if you will, starting with home decoration. We got our house painted yesterday. Yay! However, the landscape now needs to catch up. I liken it to wearing a prom dress to a swap meet. My mom says it's like wearing a prom dress with sneakers, cause now that the house looks good, the landscaping needs serious help. Poor, poor landscape.

So that's what I'm doing today. Gathering some nice potted plants and some Halloween decorations to brighten up our terrible landscape until we can get to the weekend when we plan to put down some lava rock and plants and getting rid of that palm-tree thing. The lawn is another story. We're in the process of working on that. Next task: taking the cat to the groomer. The poor little flat-faced persian is all knotted and it's time to tackle the orange coif. It's her first "tackle it Tuesday" as well. And finally, working out, in the ongoing project that is my body. That's more like "Tackle it Quarterly" because I'll be doing this till the year runs out, possibly longer.

Those are HUGE tackles. I'm sure you'll love the look of your home even more once your landscaping is done. :0)

Oh, oh, giant tackles I'd say, comparing to mine, but you're sounds more fun though :-)

The house looks FAB and I'm sure your garden will too soon. Good luck with that fun garden project.

Hey, won't you join Green Thumb Sunday blogroll, to show us the progress on the garden? It would be very interesting to follow.

It's for gardeners or gardener wanna be's, house plant enthusiasts, and nature lovers.

All you need to do to participate is to post a picture on Sundays (at least once a month) of a plant in your yard or that you are growing, happened to see somewhere, a landscape or nature scene.

And to put up the (blogroll) links to the other participants, not so many yet, on your blogs sidebar or on an own page.

Sounds easy doesn't it?

Come on, it's a lot of fun and we're gonna LOVE your GTS posts :-)

We would be thrilled to have you with us!

You can have a look at one of my GTS posts here:

Go Christie! I envy you. I wish we could stay some place long enough where I could do some home improvement projects. I also feel ya on kitty. Our cat and dog are both looking pretty pitiful these days. I really need to get them to the groomer and soon...
