awww... they actually have a tradition around here called the pumpkin roll where they take old pumpkins and roll them down the hill to be smashed at the bottom. I am going to keep mine until the weekend, i can't bear to see my precious carving go in the trash :-( happy WW!

Awww... ours never make it to the trash, we have some not so nice kids in the neighborhood who like to smash pumpkins. So we opted out of carving pumpkins this year :-(

YES! We're putting our pumpkins down today, too. Long may they rest...

The boys wanted to put them in the garden to compost. I can only imagine the little pumpking plants that would sprout!
