awww... they actually have a tradition around here called the pumpkin roll where they take old pumpkins and roll them down the hill to be smashed at the bottom. I am going to keep mine until the weekend, i can't bear to see my precious carving go in the trash :-( happy WW!

Awww... ours never make it to the trash, we have some not so nice kids in the neighborhood who like to smash pumpkins. So we opted out of carving pumpkins this year :-(

Happy Wednesday!

I wonder what kind of music gets played at a pumpkin funeral? Great shot!

YES! We're putting our pumpkins down today, too. Long may they rest...

The boys wanted to put them in the garden to compost. I can only imagine the little pumpking plants that would sprout!

I've posted my Wordless Wednesday, too. Enjoy! ;)

Aww! Almost as sad as naked Christmas trees out with the garbage cans.

I have a huge one on my porch headed for his eternal rest in the compost heap.

Wow, you don't waste any time. Ours should have gone today since today was trash pickup, but they are still sitting outside.
