WE were regarded as primary caretakers, and everything was done to make us feel secure and up to the task in every way but the medical care.
But he was not our first, and since my waters broke at 18+3 weeks, having a "preemie" was better than having nothing at all... We had our shock 12 weeks before he was actually born, and he was WAY bigger than anything we had anticipated, at 1640 grammes (3pounds somethingorother). He's now 6 months old, and perfect, and I'm still very emotional about it all. Trying to write it off my chest on my #2 Blog http://karlshome.blogspot.com
Anyway - these little miracles make life worth while, don't they??Stinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08389597687862357675noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34018180.post-58584755619565411542007-02-23T12:11:00.000-05:002007-02-23T12:11:00.000-05:00WOW - what a healthy boy he is! I was very lucky also in that he never needed to be on a ventilator. He did so well. He is now 13. He is so involved and noone would know how tiny he was. Time sure flies fast.
Love that little poops because before you know it, he will be 13 like my little guy.
We usually walk here also. It sure is a great cause.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34018180.post-59140102686291861042007-02-23T07:00:00.000-05:002007-02-23T07:00:00.000-05:00I donated :)I donated :)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34018180.post-15589145002599762222007-02-23T06:56:00.000-05:002007-02-23T06:56:00.000-05:00Love this little guy and I don't even know him! :)...Love this little guy and I don't even know him! :)
I'd love to come down and walk with you..so fun!
Hey..what is the first initial of his name?
